Nigerian Army on Sunday recorded another sterling brilliance against Boko Haram insurgents as a well-orchestrated ambush led to the killing of seven sect members and the recovery of 2,010 litres of Premium Motor Spirit in 67 Jerri Cans.
The troops of 7 Brigade who laid the ambush against the terrorists at Dawashi early this morning, at the terrorists suspected crossing point engaged them on sight, and recovered one Peugeot Station Wagon loaded with 2,010 litres of Premium Motor Spirit packed in 67 Jerri cans, uniforms, some materials and Improvised Explosive making Devices (IEDs).

According to the Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman said other items recovered include, dry cell batteries, one AK-47 rifle, tools and fish.
He called on Nigerians to maintain vigilance and report suspected terrorist to the military authorities.
