reaffirms Obiano’s qualification for second term

The National Chairman, Willie Obiano Support Ggroup, Hon, Chief Jude Emecheta, has commended the members of the group in Idemili South for the peace, harmony and cooperation that exist between the party structure and the support group. He reaffirmed that Governor Obiano has no challenge in his re-election bid for a second term considering his outstanding performance so far. He described Obiano as a leader with a difference.

Chief Emecheta urged party supporters to be focused and work hard for the second term bid of the Governor.

Tony-Uche Ezekwelu, known as Ochiagha Ndi-ntolobia, in his speech, promised that he will make every necessary effort to reconcile all aggrieved members of the party in the local government, especially, old executive members and stakeholders to ensure victory for Obiano in the forthcoming election. He emphasized that Idemmili South should be counted as a sure landslide win for APGA/Obiano come 2017 guber election as the group has consolidated its grassroots hold on all the 12 wards of the local government.

He thanked the Chairman, Emecheta for finding time to come and the LG APGA Chairman, Chief Obunadike, for his encouragement and support for the support group. He commended the support group members for their commitment and steadfastness despite all odds, encouraging them that the future is bright and prosperous for all. He promised to continue fighting for the good and welfare of the members and all constituents. “We shall vote massively for APGA and protect our votes with all means necessary,” he said.

Finally, he commended Governor Obiano for his continuing superlative performance and urged him not to rest on his oars, assuring Akpokuedike that his second tenure bid is a faith accompli as voice of the people is the voice of God.

Earlier in his remarks, the APGA party local government chairman, Chief Felix Obunadike, said the party in Idemili South is ever ready to deliver the votes of the local to Obiano because he has performed creditably well. “We will do everything humanly possible to return him back to power,” he declared.

People in attendance included Comrade Ezekwelu K.K, S.A Media to the Governor; the LG coordinator, Dr. Webster Okonkwo; State Auditor, Mr. Captain Maduekwe; Hon Ejima Kenneth Ezekwelu, a major stakeholder, all LG excos ward chairmen, APGA chairman, Ojoto, Chief Obimdike Ajaegbo; Atu Ojoto, representatives of the party, APGA in Idemili South.

High point of the meeting was formal endorsement of Gov Obiano second term bid by the Willie Obiano support group in Idemili South LGA.
