2027 Elections: Kasunmu declares poise for fourth term bid

• gives cash, equipment to Ikeja 2 constituents

The Deputy Majority Leader of Lagos State House of Assembly Hon.Adedamola Kasunmu has declared his preparedness to represent Ikeja Constituency 2 for the fourth term, reeling out the importance of being matured in the legislature.

Hon.Kasunmu revealed his intension at the Renewed Hope Super Empowerment programme he organized in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, targeting shared prosperity and even distribution of wealth amongst constituents.

According to Kasunmu the event reflects his resolve as a representative of the people, to always put the people first with respect to beneficial impact on their economic and social well being.

“It reflects shared vision for collective progress and unwavering commitment to the constituents; it is not just an event but a demonstration of our believe that a people’s representative must be people centred impacting their lives positively.

“The essence of the programme is to carry everyone along as much as we can, our constituents ranging from 500 beneficiaries each of them got 100,000-naira cash gifts and up to 2000 constituents benefiting various other equipment and service

“You can see behind you deep freezers, generators, fans, barbing kits, sowing kits, hair dressing kits for artisans to reshape and further enhance their life and livelihood.

“We are also giving out two Toyota Hiace buses to the All-Progressives Congress APC in our constituency, 50 POS machines with 50,000 naira start up support grant, 50 solar power generators, 20 laptops to aid our tech driven youths in Ikeja.

“For the artisans we are giving 25 full barbing kits, 25 hairdressing kits, 20 Deep Freezers to our market women, ten fans and generators to ten security formations in our constituency, ten widows will also get 100,000 naira each, outside here we have free medical check-up for our people.

“I remain fully committed to delivering the dividend of democracy, let us continue to work together, this is also my official declaration to run for the seat for the fourth term, to bring in much more goodies for the people.

“Having been a ranking member in the house maturity on the job certainly counts, following the foot paths of our leader Rt. Hon. James Faleke who had done immensely well for Ikeja Federal constituency I am also not loosening my guard.

” Aside that we have food empowerment initiative where we put together a few food stuffs in the food boxes, that you see going round in support of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria GCFR, for his Renewed Hope Agenda initiative and to make Ikeja continue to shine as the nerve center of Lagos State.

“As far as I am concerned, we will make sure that we continue to deliver the dividend of democracy to the grassroots, improving the lives of our constituents.”

The Apex leader in Ikeja Mr. Mayegun Adeogun was quick to add that the items will go a long way in ensuring people sustenance in the pursuit of livelihood.

“I am overwhelmed by the various empowerment kits afforded here, it is a real mega empowerment programme and we are very proud of Hon. Adedamola Kasunmu.

“I advise the beneficiaries not to sell the items but make maximum use of them, it will go a long way to sustain them.”

A beneficiary Fabola Olabisi who run a bakery business got a solar powered generator, to her it is an energy back up she could not really afford so it was a dream come through for her.
