Urinating is something that every human in the world have done because it is one of the ways our body can pass out waste. What many people may not know is that the colour of the urine can tell about our overall health, and what is happening inside our body. Our urine can tell us things like if our body is dehydrated, infected with bacteria, or going through serious medical conditions. For the purpose of this article, we are going to be looking at some things the colour of your urine can tell you about your health.

a) No Colour: when you urinate, and your urine does not have any colour and looks transparent, it means that you are taking in so much water, and you should probably reduce your intake of water. If you are the type of person that always consume a lot of water or feel thirsty all the time, you should reduce your intake and visit a doctor if possible.


b) Pale Colour: if your urine looks pale, not too transparent, it means you are healthy and well hydrated, so you have nothing to worry about. Continue eating healthy and exercising regularly.


c) Transparent Yellow: transparent yellow urine means that you are perfectly healthy. However, ensure to eat healthy regularly, and keep fit to maintain that healthy lifestyle.

d) Dark Yellow: a dark yellow coloured urine means that you are healthy but you are not consuming enough water and you should increase your intake of water regularly.


e) Honey Colour: this means that your body is not getting enough water, and this can be very detrimental to your health as it can make your body dehydrated. Ensure that the body gets enough water to stay hydrated. Drink water after each meal, and early in the morning when you wake up.


f) Syrup Colour: a syrup colour urine can mean that you have liver disease or severe dehydration, which is very bad for our health. You should see drink enough water once you start noticing this, and see your doctor if it persists.


g) Orange Colour: if your urine starts colouring, there is a chance that you have a liver or bile duct condition. It could also mean that you are not drinking enough water and you should contact doctor for assistance.
