Enugu late native doctor buried in his idling car; his 59 widows, over 300 children explain why
The late Simon Odo, who died Tuesday, has been buried in a most spectacular way—same way as the man lived at Aji, Enugu, for the better part of his 74 years.
According to the BBC, that was the way the native doctor who married 59 wives and had over 300 children wanted to go to the great beyond.
Odo was nestled in his car revving, with his fav song cooing, all driven right into the grave, and covered.
Villagers said no one had ever been buried that way.
Odo requested to be buried in this way, his son Uchenna Odo said, adding the vehicle made the journey smoother.
The burial in an idling vehicle signified his smooth transit into his next world, some of his children said.
