Tinubu arrives Lagos from UK after France Summit
President Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, arrived Lagos from the United kingdom (UK) after the Global Summit in Paris, France. The President arrived the Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos from London, at 5.13pm.
President Tinubu was received on arrival by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, supporters, leaders and notable members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
The members of the Presidential Guards in Lagos also joined in welcoming President Tinubu home for the Sallah break.
President Tinubu departed Abuja on June 22, 2023 for the New Global Financial Pact Summit at the Palais Brongniart, Paris, France.
The Media Aide to the President, Dele Alake, in a statement lest Saturday had disclosed that the President departed for London, the United Kingdom, after the two-day summit, on a “short private visit”. He had stated that President Tinubu would return to Nigeria for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration holding on June 28 and 29, 2023. The President had scheduled to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir at his country home in Lagos.
