The Council reviewed the activities of the state government in the past one year.
The governor also informed council members of the composition of a discreet monitoring and evaluation team charged at preparing quarterly performance assessment reports of ministries and agencies under the state government.
Adeleke further enjoined cabinet members on the importance of unity and smooth working relationships between agencies and ministries of the state government as key to realizing the administration’s objectives for the year.

“Yesterday, after the inter-religious service at the government secretariat, we held the 2024 maiden state executive council meeting. We used the opportunity to review our activities for the past year and remind ourselves the importance of the year 2024 in our administration’s quest to delivering our developmental agenda to the people of Osun State in all the sectors of the state economy.
“During my address at the meeting, I charged the cabinet members to redouble all efforts aimed at delivering excellent service to the people. I also informed council members of the composition of a discreet monitoring and evaluation team charged at preparing quarterly performance assessment reports of ministries and agencies under the state government.
“I enjoined cabinet members on the importance of unity and smooth working relationships between agencies and ministries of the state government as key to realizing our administration’s objectives for the year.
“The council approved the appointment of six new traditional rulers with the elevation of 11 more traditional rulers to part II (recognized) status of the Chief Law, Cap 25, Laws of Osun state, 2002.”
