African first ladies who allegedly cheated on their husbands

One of the reasons why a lot of marriages collapse in the world today is because of unfaithfulness. the cause of unfaithfulness is not limited to only finances, great looks and material possessions, in fact people who have it all do cheat on their partners.

Many spouses suffer heart breaks, presidents too are not exempted. This post will highlight five African presidents who’s wives have cheated on.

1. Nothando Dube

She was the twelfth wife of Swaziland King Mswati III, in 2011 social media went agog with news of her sexual scandal, she was accused of infidelity and was captured with Ndumiso Mamba swazilands minister of justice in a hotel through a raid, in a compromising manner. Mamba’s picture is below.

She compained of being put in house arrest and not being able too see her family and friends.She lived a miserable life when she got married to the king at the young age of 16. she passed away in South Africa in March 2019 from skin cancer.

2. Nompumelelo Ntuli Zuma

Nonpumelelo was the former First Lady of past South African President Jacob Zuma, She was his second wife. There were allegations and speculations of her having a sexual relationship with her body guard in June 2010.

Her body guard, Phinda Thomo was later found dead in suspicious circumstances, he was found in his home lying in a pool of blood with a gun in his hand. His death was concluded as suicide which his family highly refute. He left four children behind.

Ntuli on the otherhand was accused of poisoning Zuma because he sidelined her when he found out about her extramarital affairs. She was ousted from the presidential palace and relocated with her children.

3. Winnie Madikizela Mandela

Winnie Mandela was said to have had an affair with Dali Mpofu who was her deputy in the social welfare department of the African National Congress. Her husband, Mandela announced that she filed for a divorce and he condemned her for committing adultery with Dali Mpofu.

4. Vera Chiluba

Vera Chiluba was the former First Lady of Zambia From 1991 until her divorce from her former husband. She was married to past President of Zambia, Frederick Chiluba.

According to reports Fredrick Chiluba accused her of cheating on him with popular business executive Mactribouy Archie, he then chased her out of their matrimonial home, she ended up suffering from a stroke years later.

5. Grace Mugabe

late Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has not been left out of this cheating debacle, when he was alive, his wife , Grace was presumed to be in a secret affair with the countries reserve bank governor Gideon Gono. Gideon and Mugabe were close associates.

Not only that, she was also alleged to have had other affairs with Peter Pamire and James Makamba. When the affair became public, peter ended up dying in a mysterious accident and James went on exile to another country.
