The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, on Friday upturned the judgement of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, presided by Justice Olukayode Adeniyi, which dismissed the PDP Executive Council in Anambra State.

Justice Adah of the Court of Appeal in the judgement declared that the Federal High Court, Abuja, lacked the territorial jurisdiction to entertain the suit brought before it on the dispute over PDP leadership in Anambra State.

The PDP may be heading to the Supreme Court for the ultimate judgement before the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State. However, Ozigbo is not party to the contentious suit but the party structure the court recognizes is significant in the presentation of candidate to the INEC for the election.
