Protest of coronavirus restrictions and the vaccine mandate has spread across Europe. Citizens on Saturday stormed the streets of Vienna, protesting the intention of the Austrian government to impose another nationwide lock down from Monday, citing spreading coronavirus infections.
The mass protest spread to Switzerland, Croatia, Italy, Northern Ireland, and the Netherlands.
The Dutch police had engaged in free shooting of the protesters. The protesters agitated against coronavirus restrictions and COVID-19 mandatory pass in several European countries to access restaurants, Christmas markets or sports events, including mandatory vaccinations.
While the Austrian government enforces new lock-down on Monday, the government has resolved to make vaccinations mandatory from February 1.
