The All-Progressives Congress (APC) UK South-West Caucus (APCUKSWSC) has joined other well-meaning Nigerians to felicitate with the renowned Nobel Laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka on his attainment of an impactful and witty laced 90 years on earth.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of APC UK South West Caucus Hon Andrew Taiwo in London United Kingdom, the group appraised the great artistic impression made on the world’s canvas by Prof Wole Soyinka a native of Ogun state.
“The great literary icon remains one of the best products of Ogun state and our nation Nigeria, an irrepressible, dogged, stylish, firm, sociable, respectable and yet amiable personae.

“We at the APCUKSWSC, heartily felicitate with this unique and eminent personality whose wealth of life many generations will continue to savour with great admiration.

“We however, used this opportunity to commend the President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his thoughtfulness and well-deserved move of officially renaming the National Arts Theatre in Iganmu as Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts after our great impresario- Prof Wole Soyinka, the enigma of Ake.
