The Nigerian Army on Wednesday announced the arrest of two kingpins of the Boko Haram Sects that have detonated several bomb blast leading up to the death of several people.
Those arrested were said to be Abubakar Sadiq in Maiduguri, who until his arrest was number 28 on the list of terrorist sects declared wanted while Mohammed Usman, was captured by the police of Borno State Command and was number 40 among the top 100 declared wanted.
According to the Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel SK Usman, that said the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, lauded the performance of both the military and the police in tracking down the notorious terrorist sects.
Colonel Usman called on the Nigerian public to remain vigilant in the face of the Boko Haram threat.
