Army chief visits wounded soldier in Maiduguri

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, on Monday visited wounded soldiers by Boko Haram terrorists during recent attacks in the North east.

The chief sympathised with the troops who are presently on admission at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital and 7 Division Hospital and Medical Services at Maiduguri.

In the last couple of weeks, Nigerian troops came under massive attacks by Boko Haram insurgents in an attempt to reclaim some towns in the northeast leading to the killing of Army Commander, Lt Col Mohammed Abu Ali and six others.
