The leader of a defunct militant group, Niger Delta Volunteer Force (NDVF), Asari Dokubo paid a congratulatory visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in Abuja.
The APC in a short statement indicated that “Niger Delta leader Asari Dokubo on Sunday paid a “congratulatory” visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, at his residence in Abuja.”
“The National Chairman, H.E. Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, hosted frontline Niger Delta leader, Asari Dokubo, on a congratulatory visit at his residence in Abuja.”
Asari Dokubo had earlier visited President Bola Tinubu after inauguration.
The visit is coming at a time that the renewal of pipeline surveillance contract in the Niger Delta by the federal government is now on the burner.
