Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has declared that global icon Rihanna is the one person she would drop everything to intern for.
The singer, whose real name is Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, made the disclosure while speaking on a recent episode of The Intern.
During the conversation, Ayra Starr also spoke about the inspiration behind her song Where Do We Go, explaining that the track was inspired by a private relationship and the uncertainty about whether to make it public.
According to her, the song reflects the dilemma of deciding whether to remain discreet about the relationship or share it openly.
“‘Where Do We Go’ is inspired by a private relationship. Are we going to stay hidden or come out to the world? I’m kind of in the middle, so it’s like, where do we go?” she said.
Speaking further, the singer noted that if she had the opportunity to intern for anyone, it would be Rihanna, adding that she would be willing to perform any task required.
“If I have to intern for anyone, it would be Rihanna. I would get the coffee. Anything she wants me to do, I will do it,” she added.
