The new Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, after his inauguration on Wednesday, promised that his administration will be committed to the completion of all abandoned projects by the All Progressives Congress (APC) government to give the people of the state value for their commitment and belief in democracy.
Mohammed, former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, was sworn-in as the new Governor of Bauchi State at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi on Wednesday.
The Chief Judge of Bauchi State, Rabi Umar, administered the Oath of Office and Oath of Allegiance on Bala Mohammed.
Governor Bala Mohammed in his speech promised to leave good legacies that will uplift the development of Bauchi State and the People.

The event witnessed a large crowd from within and outside Bauchi city to welcome the new administration.
The highlight of the event was a gun salute as the newly sworn-in Governor inspected a guard of honour.
Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Suleiman, PDP State Chairman, Hamza Akuyam, prominent PDP stakeholders in Bauchi, Security chiefs, religious leaders, among others, were said to be present at the inauguration.
