Be fair to all, Ugwuanyi charges PDP new Exco

THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has sworn-in newly elected executive members of the party in Nsukka local government. Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi who was represented by his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Emeka Madu charged the newly elected executives to ensure that members are carried along in all its activities.

The governor gave this advice during the inauguration of the executives. He urged the executive to carry members along stressing that the party would continue to maintain its unhindered control of the state and also enjoy the support of the people if they are dully carried along.

In his words, “In your decisions and activities ensure that all members are carried along to maintain the leadership of the party in Nsukka Local Government Area which is the hub of Enugu North senatorial district .“PDP in the state is happy that the party has won all elections in the local government and has been enjoying hundred per cent support in the zone.

Adding, “The executives should work as one family so as to give members the desired leadership quality which was expected of the new executive of the party ‘he said.

The governor commended the impressive performance of Nsukka sons and daughters working in the state in various positions urging them to keep the spirit alive. “I commend Nsukka sons and daughter who are working in various positions in the state for their commitment and dedication to move Enugu state to the next level. The task to move the state forward does not rely on the shoulder of the governor but it is the responsibility of Enugu sons and daughters including the residents in the state to ensure that Enugu achieve her objectives” Ugwuanyi said.

He stated further “My administration will continue to strive to ensure that every community in the state benefits from developmental projects that will make life better”
He urged residents of the state to pray for him and his administration since no government or individual can record any achievement without God’s direction. “Always remembers my administrations in your prayers since we all are aware that without God direction there will be no meaningful progress in one’s life, he said.

In his contribution, the PDP chairman in Enugu state, Mr Augustine Nnamani urged the new executive to consolidate on the achievements of its predecessor by ensuring that the party continuously being the leading political party in Nsukka LGA and the state.
“Ensure that PDP Nsukka is one family and if you have any problem do not hesitate to call the attention of the state executives.

“Make sure you carry everybody along in piloting the affairs of the party as every member is important to the progress of party, ‘he said.

Also, the chairman Nsukka Local Government caretaker committee, Prof Rose Onah, charged the executive to follow the footsteps of the governor in piloting the affairs of the party. “The governor is a humble man who considers God first in everything he does, that is why he has recorded numerous achievements in the past one year he assumed office as the governor of the state“ I urge the executive to avoid political bitterness in order to justify the confidence people have on them in electing them as executives, “she said.

Responding on behalf of the newly inaugurated executive Mr Fabian Onah, PDP chairman Nsukka LGA promised that the executive would work as team in order to ensure that they would leave Nsukka PDP better than they met it. “We will operate open door policy as well as carry everybody along in all we do. We are humbled to be given the mountle of leadership in the party in this local government. On behalf of my members, I promise that the confidence the party has on us would be maintained at all times. We can assure the members that we will not disappoint them” he stated.
