Another military wing of the Biafra Nations League, the Black Marine, was reported to have last week killed some Cameroonian soldiers in a attack on speedboat.

The Cameroonian soldiers were later gathered to have embarked on search operations for the militia.

Also, the Operational Coordinator of the Biafra Nations League (BnL), Henry Edet, had a fortnight ago issued ban on international business activities in the Gulf of Guinea, extending to the Peninsula and the surrounding waterways, declaring that the group will block the Idabato high sea if the foreigners, including oil companies, have an agreement with the Biafran agitators.

Edet had cautioned both the military of the Nigerian and Cameroonian governments to vacate the Bakassi, further warning that that the group would not tolerate presence of foreign armed forces in the territory.
