Notorious billionaire kidnapper in Nigeria, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, aka Evans, has denied initiating any suit in court against the Police to challenge his detention as being reported in media which was said to be filled on his behalf by one lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje demanding N300 million in damages for restriction of his fundamental human rights.
In a media interaction on Sunday from his detention cell, monitored on Channels Television from Lagos, Evans described the reported lawsuit as an attempt by some people to put him in more trouble. “I have no hand in any case filed against the police and I did not speak to any lawyer or my father to file a case on my behalf. All I will say is that they should temper justice with mercy,” he had said.
