President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone at the United Nations Security session, held talks with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres.
President Bio emphasized that their discussion centered on the next steps in Africa’s push for UN Security Council reform, Regional Security in the Sahel, and the strides made by Sierra Leone in strengthening its democracy.

Our discussion centered around the next steps in Africa’s push for UN Security Council reform, Regional Security in the Sahel, and the strides made by Sierra Leone in strengthening its democracy.
“I extend my appreciation to the Secretary-General for backing Africa in addressing historical injustice and for his unwavering dedication to fostering peace and stability in the Sahel Region.
