The President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and the Brazilian First Lady, Janja da Silva , on Monday, welcomed President Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, to the G20 2024 Summit holding in Rio De janeiro, Brazil.

Meanwhile, Nigeria is not a member of the G20, and is yet to develop the domestic economy to compete with member states of the G20. President Tinubu, however, went to Brazil with large contingent for the G20 Summit on the invitation of the Brazilian President.
