Chelsea Football Club has been bestowed with a special recognition by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for its remarkable achievement of winning every major European competition.
The announcement was made by UEFA President, Aleksander Čeferin, who described the recognition as a historic milestone in European football.
“Chelsea have won every European competition and they are the only football club who have achieved this. This is very special,” Čeferin stated.
The London-based club’s illustrious record includes victories in the UEFA Champions League (2012, 2021), UEFA Europa League (2013, 2019), UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup (1971, 1998), UEFA Super Cup (1998, 2021), and the FIFA Club World Cup (2022).
