Charly Boy, a well-known human rights advocate and social media influencer from Nigeria, responded to a story from Arise TV that claimed terrorists received N800 million in exchange for the release of seven Abuja Kaduna train hostages in a message he posted on his Twitter account.
The terrorists reportedly made N200 million Naira for the release of the Pakistani national who was one of the hostages, according to Arise TV.
The Arise TV further disclosed that a total of N800 million Naira—or N600 million Naira converted into dollars—was paid for the release of six additional prisoners.
Reacting to this report, Charly boy released a statement via his twitter handle, where he stated, “Now you understand why this business is not stopping any time soon”.
