Chelsea and Manchester United have confirmed loan exits for two of their highly rated youngsters, Omari Kellyman and Ethan Williams, as both clubs continue shaping their squads ahead of the new season.
Chelsea, in a statement on their official website on Monday, announced that 19-year-old midfielder Omari Kellyman has joined League One side Cardiff City on a season-long loan.
Kellyman, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Aston Villa last summer, featured regularly for Chelsea’s Under-21s in Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup during the 2023/24 campaign. The loan spell at Cardiff is expected to provide him with valuable first-team experience.

Manchester United also confirmed that 19-year-old forward Ethan Williams has signed a new long-term contract with the club, extending his stay at Old Trafford until 2028, with an option for an additional year. Immediately after signing, Williams was sent out on loan to Scottish side Falkirk for the season.
This marks his second loan move away from United, following a successful spell at Cheltenham Town in League Two last season, where he scored his first senior goals and earned praise for his performances.
Both players will now look to gain consistent senior football minutes as part of their development, with their parent clubs closely monitoring their progress.
