Children’s Day: Train a child, save a nation – KSF orphanage

An Orphanage in Jos has advised Nigerians to invest in training the less privileged, orphans and disabled in the country or be ready to harvest terrorists in the future.

The Orphanage known as The Kwamkur Samuel Foundation, celebrating children with special needs at the Open Doors For Special Learners Education Centre in Jos at the weekend called on the government to also pay close attention to orphans and the deprived children so as to build a healthy nation.

Speaking at the occasion President of the Foundation, Mr Kwamkur Samuel says the Children’s Day Party is aimed at putting smiles on the Children’s faces because they are a major part of the family and the future of a nation.

Kwamkur further stated that it is important to take proper care of every child in order to have a thriving society as he calls  on government, society, parents and teachers to put in their best in playing their roles.

Director of the School, Dr Roselyn Yilpet says taking care of children with disabilities is a divine call from God which requires a lot of patience.

She also notes that every child is a gift from God including those with special needs and should not be neglected because of their inability to perform well.

Yilpet appreciates the foundation for Identifying with the children and making them happy.

This year’s Children’s Day is tagged, “More money for Primary Education”, our correspondent reports.
