The Christiasn at the weekend engaged on mass protest in Ibadan, Oyo STaste, seeking justice for victims who killed in religious violence
The Christian group in Ibadan, Oyo State, engaged in peaceful protest of the killing of a student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, Deborah Yakubu, by Muslim students of the institution for perceived blasphemy. The protesters demanded the prosecution of the killers of the female students in Sokoto State.
They also demanded justice for other Nigerians killed because of religious extremism and intolerance.
The protesters, at the premises of the Oritamefa Baptist Church in Ibadan, displayed placards communicating their grievances, and agitating for justice to be done by the government on the killing of Deborah.
