There were controversies at the weekend over the return of the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, from London, the United Kingdom (UK).
The Media Adviser to the APC national leader, Tunde Rahman, was said to have debunked reports that Tinubu is back to Nigeria. He had dismissed such reports as false.
Rahman was cited to have declared: “His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is not back. The report about his return is absolute fake news.
“I know many are eagerly awaiting his return. He would do so very soon. When he does, everyone will know.’
Tinubu has been in London where he is recuperating from knee surgery.
