A former Governor of Anambra State, Dame Virgy Etiaba, has sent her commiseration to former Governor Chukwuemeka Ezeife of Anambra State, over the death of his wife, Lady Njideka. She died after a brief illness in the United States of America.
Dame Etiaba recalled the leadership prowess of the late wife of the former governor in the development of the state.
Dame Etiaba’s statement reads: “Okwadike, my commiserations over the death of your dear wife, Njideka
Your Excellency,
“With a heavy heart, I express my profound commiserations on the shocking death of your dear wife, and our former First Lady Njideka, after a brief illness in the United States of America.
“I’ll always remember her as a great leader in her own capacity, and a devoted and loving wife to you.
“By her departure, we have indeed lost a beautiful gem who left her indelible footprints in her own way, in our dear Anambra State between January 1992 and November 1993.
“Okwadike, I commiserate with your family and will always remember you in my prayers.
“May Njideka’s gentle soul rest in the everlasting peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
