Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has announced his first-ever festival, Davido & Friends, set to take place at the Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14, 2026.
The award-winning artist, also known as OBO, made the announcement via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, describing the event as a major milestone in his career.
“For the first time ever, I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival. It’s going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th,” he wrote.

The festival forms part of the Palace Bowl Presents series, a summer lineup of live music events scheduled to run from July 31 to August 16, 2026, at the South London venue. Davido will headline and curate the full-day event, which is expected to feature a lineup of guest performers yet to be announced.
The announcement follows his successful 2025 tour in support of his fifth studio album, 5IVE, which saw him perform across major cities in Nigeria and Europe, including Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos.
Davido’s upcoming festival marks another significant step in the global expansion of Afrobeats, reinforcing his influence on the international music scene.
