A former presidential candidate and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu, has slammed the judges of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
Momodu, who walked side by side with the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 presidential election, accused the judges of turning the nation’s Constitution upside down.
The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal ruled on Wednesday that President Bola Tinubu proved beyond all reasonable doubts that he won the 2023 polls.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, had approached the Tribunal, challenging the declaration of Tinubu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the winner of the 2023 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Having failed at the Tribunal, both Obi and Atiku, through their representatives, have announced that they are heading to the Supreme Court.
Reacting, Momodu said, “I watched in utter amazement and wonderment how our Constitution was brazenly and deliberately turned upside down by those who lack a sense of history and care less about the verdict of history.
“What all men and women of good conscience should have for them is pity and not anger… NIGERIA SHALL BE FREE…,” Momodu wrote on X.
