Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State at a meeting in Yenogoa at the PDP State Secretariat assured party loyalists and supporters that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is strong and united to win the November 2019 governorship election in in the state. The governor emphasized that promoting harmony and inclusiveness among members is a cardinal policy of the PDP, warning that indiscipline will not be entertained.
Participants at the meeting re-echoed the importance of cohesion and harmony among party loyalist, members and supporters across the state in the build up to the governorship election in Bayelsa State.

In addition to the call for cohesiveness, the PDP cautioned against acts of indiscipline and other forms of misconduct. The party leaders warned that appropriate sanctions will be enforced on any members found culpable of wrong behavior or anti-party activities.
The State Executive Committee ratified and adopted an interim report submitted by the Disciplinary Committee. Members await the action of the State Working Committee on the report.
