The emergence of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and their arm wing Eastern Security Network (ESN), brought pain to the residents of the South-East. This group of outlaws made life difficult for residents of the Southeast who were of the Igbo ethnic group and others who are residing in the Southeast region.
They started with agitations and the calling of names on social media. When their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu evaded arrest and ran out of the country after the military visited his home, this group of outlaws started forming a terror group called the ESN. These young men carried with them sophisticated weapons including AK-47, bombs charms, etc.
We will be revealing ESN/IPOB members killed/arrested while exchanging bullets in 2021.
