Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State, has raised serious concerns over the alleged police arrest of his supporters and party faithful and the intimidation of voters by thugs loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State.

Dr. Ighodalo made these statements while appearing today on Arise News’ flagship current affairs program, The Morning Show.

The incident in Edo State has significantly escalated tensions as we approach the September 21, 2024 elections. Dr. Ighodalo, the candidate of the ruling party in the state, expressed his profound disappointment and frustration at the reported arrests and voter intimidation tactics employed by individuals allegedly affiliated with the APC.
