English Premier League giants are all believed to be interested in the transfer of 18-year-old German international Youssoufa Moukoko.

The Cameroon-born star who appeared to be following in the footsteps of the likes of Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham by starreing for Dortmund before attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe has emerged as a hot target for the top English clubs.

National Daily understands that Liverpool and Manchester United have joined Premier League rivals Chelsea in the hot race to secure the signature of Dortmund striker.

The 18-year-old has been viewed as one of the most exciting talents in world football, having already made more than 50 appearances for Dortmund while also making his international debut.

18-year-old Moukoko has emerged as a top target for some EPL giants

Moukoko’s rapid acceleration in the Bundesliga has not gone unnoticed as he was named in Germany’s World Cup squad where he made his debut in the tournament in the group game against Japan.

It is believed that German giants will consider selling the teenager in January if they are unable to tie him down to a new long-term deal to avoid him leaving for free next summer.

National Daily gathered from the report that made the rounds earlier this week that Chelsea were ‘hopeful’ of bringing Moukoko to Stamford Bridge and were even considering a January swoop for the hugely-talented striker.

But the reports reaching National Daily now from The Times claim that Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool are both firmly in the race to sign Moukoko.

However, it is believed that the player does not want his development to stall so is wary about leaving Borussia Dortmund only for his career to stagnate.

But a big-money move to a Premier League giant would surely be too appealing to turn down for a player expected to lead the line for Germany in the future.

While Chelsea and Graham Potter were looking to bolster their attacking options before Armando Broja suffered a season-ending injury as the blow could accelerate the Blues transfer plans, Manchester United and Erik ten Hag are looking to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with the Red Devils also having been linked with other World Cup stars like Netherland’s Cody Gakpo and Portugal’s Goncalo Ramos.

Meanwhile, Liverpool who have seen their squad depleted after they fated to be without Luis Diaz for around another three months are poised for reinforcement as Jurgen Klopp will look to guide the Anfield club back up the Premier League table.

National Daily however can confirm that Moukoko feel comfortable at Signal Iduna Park following his statement when he addressed the mounting speculation over his future at a Germany press conference last month and said: ‘I feel very comfortable in Dortmund, I feel the confidence of the coach. You’ll find out in the end whether I decide to stay or not.’
