The Manager of Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel, has discovered a new Kai Havertz in the lineup of the Blues in the preparations for the new season of the English Premier League (EPL). The discovery emanated from the counsel and correction coming from Leeds United former star, Jermaine Beckford, who pointed out the right position to play Kai Havertz in the Chelsea team for the best result.
Beckford had declared in a media interaction: “With Kai Havertz, I am a huge admirer of his. I don’t think he is built to be a number nine. That is not his natural position.
“That is not where we see the best of him. “He works better when he’s working alongside somebody or as a number 10.”
Beckford noted that Tuchel played Havertz in the wrong position last season.
Havertz finished last season with 14 goals and six assists in all competitions under Tuchel.
