Ex-NFF President Pinnick sues Davido for breach of contract, seeks N2.3 billion and others

The former president of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick has filed N2.3 billion suit against singer Davido and his music label, Davido Music Worldwide Limited over an alleged breach of contract.

In the suit marked EHC/183/2023 and filed before the High Court of Delta State in Effurun, Warri, Pinnick asked the court to award N2 billion as general damages against the singer.

Specifically, the claimant is praying the court for N150million as legal and professional fees & additional sum N30million as cost of filing the suit.

Amaju Pinnick, the owner of Brownhill Investments Company Limited — organizers of the yearly ‘Warri Again?’ event, through its counsel is also seeking an order directing the defendants jointly and or severally to tender a public apology on all the 1st defendant’s social media accounts/handles & in two national daily newspapers for 4 consecutive days, to the claimant & attendees
