The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has confirmed a fire outbreak at Terminal One of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Monday.
In an official statement, FAAN assured the public that no casualties have been reported so far. The agency noted that its emergency response and firefighting teams were immediately deployed to contain the fire and prevent further escalation.
“FAAN’s firefighting unit is actively working to bring the situation under control. Passengers and airport staff have been safely evacuated from the affected area,” the statement added.
