Nigerian singer Omah Stanley Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has reportedly returned to Christianity after previously embracing Islam.

The Rivers State-born artist had, in past interviews, hinted at converting to Islam, drawing attention from fans and the media. However, in a recent post on Snapchat, Omah Lay indicated that he has reverted to his birth religion, Christianity.

In the post, the singer shared that he has returned to reading the Bible, explaining that while he enjoyed exploring the Quran, he feels a stronger connection with Christian teachings.

“Back to the Bible. I enjoyed reading the Quran but I relate more to this,” Omah Lay wrote, signaling his renewed commitment to Christianity.

This development has sparked reactions from fans and followers, many of whom have expressed support for the singer’s spiritual journey and personal convictions.

Omah Lay, known for his Afrobeat hits and soulful music, joins a growing number of Nigerian artists who openly discuss their faith transitions, reflecting the dynamic interplay between personal belief and public life in the entertainment industry.
