Ebutemetta, a sleepy community in Urohi, Esan West local government was this morning attacked by some Fulani herdsmen, and seriously machetes an unidentified man.
National Daily gathered that this is the fifth time this year people of the town would be gruesomely attacked on the road and in their farms.
Narrating the incident, a resident, Mr Julius Idoge disclosed that “this morning a man was attacked at Ebutemetta while in his farm by Fulani herdsmen and inflicted various degrees of injuries on him.”
It was further gathered that the victim fell into coma with blood gushing out from different parts of his body before a good Samaritan rushed him to Irrua Specialist Hospital for medical attention.
These marauders, National Daily was told, have been a source of nightmare to Urohi community attacking people in their farms, killed about two and robbed others of their valuables.
A resident pointed out that there was another attack this night in Ebutemetta living the people to desert home following the unfortunate attack.
Condemning the attack, an Urohi citizen condemned the attack while calling on various security agencies to take proactive steps to stop incessant attacks and bring the marauders to book.
“This is an aberration, affront to our collective being, for how long would our community continue to suffer from this attacks and intimidation in our homeland? He queried.
