Tyson Fury retained his world heavyweight title after he knocked out Deontay Wilder in the 11th round of their third rematch Saturday night, and he was sportsman-like about it.
Wilder, however, acted the bitter loser.
Both Fury and Wilder kissed the canvass five times, with Tyson taking knockdowns twice early on in the fourth round.
The 11th round knockout put paid to the dispute.
“As the great John Wayne said, I’m made of pig iron and steel. It was a great fight and worthy of any great trilogy fight,” Tyson said after the match.
“He’s got no love for me because I’ve beaten him three times.
“I’m a sportsman, I went over to him, show some love, and respect, and he didn’t want to show it back. So I pray for him.”
