The Governor of Edo State, Mr. Monday Okpebholo, on Wednesday announced the immediate dissolution of the boards of all MDA’s ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) in the state.
A statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, in Benin, confirmed the development, stating that the dissolution was effective immediately.
The statement also indicated that all permanent secretaries who were appointed from outside the public and civil service had been relieved of their appointments.

Governor Okpebholo directed the affected appointees to hand over all government property in their possession to the most senior public officers in their respective MDAs, ensuring a smooth transition in the administration of state affairs.
