- Over alleged killing of one Year old girl

An angry mob on Friday in Calabar, capital city of Cross River State, torched the Royal God’s Commandment Ministry International over an allegation that the founder and General Overseer Anthony Obo kidnapped and killed a one-year-old girl for rituals.
The church which is located at 6, Abua Street off Edegerly Road is one of the branches of the church while the main auditorium of the church is at Atamunu Road also in Calabar South.
The mob which thronged the Abua church at midmorning broke into the hall and brought out all the church belongings and set them ablaze.
Okon Asibong, one of the irate youths, said that one of the three persons who kidnapped a girl on Thursday evening and killed her was caught and has confessed that it was the pastor who sent them.
The police has taken him and six others into detention.
