Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has promised the people of the state that he will run all-inclusive government to accommodate all stakeholders in the state irrespective of political party leanings. The governor maintained that genuine reconciliation as well as all-inclusive governance irrespective of political party affiliation under his administration. He was of the view that these would promote love and unity among people for the development of the state.
Governor Diri after the Supreme Court dismissed the All Progressives Congress (APC) application for review of the judgement on the Bayelsa governorship election which ousted the APC candidate, Lyon, appealed to both PDP and APC memebrs to put an end to hostilities and cooperate for good governance towards growth and development in Bayelsa.
The Governor, thereafter, visited the residence of former Governor Seriake Dickson where they had joint worship session in celebration of the judgement of the Supreme Court.
