There is increasing uproar over censorship of COVID-19 vaccine injuries across the world. As figures of side effects and injuries, including deaths, continue to rise, regulators have also become increasingly desperate to prevent media coverage of the realities of COVID-19 and the emergent vaccines.

Vaccines injuries do not spare health service providers, including medical doctors. Several victims of vaccine injuries have been raising their voices through alternatives means to alert the world of the dangers COVID-19 vaccines which the providers and regulators are keeping away from people.

Dr. Kerryn Phelps, a medical practitioner and former member of Australia’s Federal Parliament, hd raised alarm that she suffered “devastating” COVID-19 vaccine injuries with her spouse. She chided  regulators for “censoring” public discussion. She, therefore, emphasised that need for more research into vaccine adverse effects.

Dr. Kerryn Phelps, a former president of the Australian Medical Association, making a submission at the parliamentary inquiry into long COVID, disclosed that government health regulators censor discussion about side effects of  COVID vaccine.

Phelps advocated deeper research into vaccine injury beyond myocarditis and pericarditis..

The medical doctor stated that her wife, Jackie Stricker-Phelps, “suffered a severe neurological reaction to her first Pfizer vaccine within minutes,” and continued to suffer neurological symptoms, musculoskeletal inflammation and fatigue.

Phelps was said to be diagnosed of vaccine injuries also, which include intermittent fevers and cardiovascular issues, following her second Pfizer dose in July 2021.

The doctor had said that she reported her reactions and that of her spouse to the Therapeutic Goods Administration, the government agency that oversees vaccine safety, but no one at the agency followed up.

Phelps had also notified regulators that  she has “spoken with other doctors who have themselves experienced a serious and persistent adverse event including cardiological, rheumatological, autoimmune reactions and neurological consequences,” but “vaccine injury is a subject that few in the medical profession have wanted to talk about.”

According to her, “Regulators of the medical profession have censored public discussion about adverse events following immunisation, with threats to doctors not to make any public statements about anything that ‘might undermine the government’s vaccine rollout’ or risk suspension or loss of their registration.’”

Imposing restrictions on discussion of vaccine side effects, the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and National Medical Boards had in a joint statement in March 2021, ordered doctors not to “undermine” the national vaccine rollout.

According to the statement, “Any promotion of anti-vaccination statements or health advice which contradicts the best available scientific evidence or seeks to actively undermine the national immunisation campaign … may be in breach of the codes of conduct [and] subject to investigation and possible regulatory action.”

AHPRA, however, argued that the statement  did not inhibit doctors from performing their duties for patient care.

After being an earlier supporter of vaccine, Phelps aligned with high-profile medical practitioners across the world, who include British cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra, and oncologist Dr. Angus Dalgleish, in opposing vaccines.
