After declaring the APC candidate Muhammadu Buhari winner of the 2019 presidential election, INEC chairman Mahmood Yakubu gave the scorecard of all the parties that fielded candidates in the Saturday election.
The second runner up of the also-rans turns out to be ADC’s candidate Mailafia Obadiah, a former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
He polled 97879, beating the ghetto-famous candidates like Omoyele Sowore of the Africa Action Congress who got 33,953 and consensus candidates like Young People’s Party’s Kingsley Moghalu who scored 21,886, and dreamers like Fela Durotoye of the Alliance for New Nigeria that got 16,779.
At the bottom of the pile of presidential wannabes was the CAP candidate Abah Lewis Elaigwu who polled 1111.
