Renowned Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has strongly denied claims that she introduced the substance known as ‘Kayamata’ to her goddaughter, Fola Tinubu, amid a viral social media controversy.
The rumours first gained traction after entertainment blogger Gistlover alleged that Iyabo had given Fola a sexual attraction substance, while also accusing Fola of being involved with multiple men, including actor Kunle Afolayan, whom she allegedly got pregnant for.
Taking to her Instagram story to address the allegations, Iyabo Ojo dismissed the claims, stating, “I don’t patronise such (Kayamata). First and foremost, Fola Tinubu is an adult. I’m not one to monitor anyone’s life.”

She further clarified her relationship with her goddaughter, explaining, “I don’t discuss intimate matters with goddaughters. I’m a very strict and busy person. Gistlover, saying I gave Fola any form of Kayamata is a lie from the pit of hell.”
Iyabo added, “I don’t know who she is dating and I’ve never asked her, nor have I ever given her anything for sexual or relationship purposes. I myself don’t use Kayamata.”
The actress’s response underscores her rejection of the viral accusations and highlights her stance on personal boundaries and adult autonomy in relationships.
