Ize-Iyamu’s chieftaincy title: PDP commends Oshiomhole for truthfulness
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), chiding the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, after he received traditional chieftaincy title in Auchi, commended former APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, for speaking the truth about Ize-Iyamu during the 2016 governorship campaign in Edo State. The PDP berating Ize-Iyamu as a ‘fake’ pastor, expressed that what Oshiomhole said in 2016 about the APC governorship candidate in the September 19, 2020, election, are coming into reality.
The PDP wondered how an ordained pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) would condescend to being coronated with traditional chieftaincy title, which the party pointed out, has traditional responsibilities, including worshipping of cultural deities.
The PDP, therefore, declared that Oshiomhole was right in all that he said about Ize-Iyanu, including his criminality perceptions.
Accordingly, the PDP on one its pages on social media remarked: “Fake Pastor Ize-Iyamu, Oshiomhole was right.”
The party highlighted that Pastor Ize-Iyamu was on Wednesday coronated with the traditional tittle of Itsemakhons of Auchi by Otaru of Auchi. The PDP recalled that “in the words of Oshiomhole in 2016, he said: ‘fear those people who carry Bible during the day and Ak-47 at night.”
The PDP, therefore, postulated that “it all means Adams Oshiomhole said about Pastor Ize-Iyamu in 2016 has started to come out as true.”
The party questioned: “how on earth will an ordained RCCG Pastor, who is supposed to be a man of God receive a traditional title with traditional responsibility…”
Some stakeholders had reacted differently. A stakeholder had responded: “POI, you are not different from Esau. Because you want to become a governor, you sold your birth right. God have mercy.” Another stakeholder had remarked: “who ordained Ize-Iyamu pastor? May be na (it’s) political title.” However, another stakeholder had a contrary view. He said: “you failed to mention that Obaseki and his deputy were also given traditional titles in same area. Using different standards for judging Pastor Ize-Iyamu does not show objectivity at all. He is not a fake pastor.”
The argument continued with divergent opinions.

What are you saying can any Chife Imma aspect sure a thing. To drop his Quran on ground and carry Bible in a public place and later go back of Friday to lead his people?.
What we are saying is that he can aspect whatever whatever they give him but not to dresse in a way that will make the Christian community to talk. As a pastor no this is a big disgrace to his family not to Christian community

Ize- Iyamu has shown the whole world how desperate he is. By accepting a traditional title from an Islamic King, he has nullified his spiritual ridgts as a pastor. Pastor Adeboye should do the right by suspending and excommunicate Ize- Iyamu to preserve the image of the church. Will Pastor Enoch Adeboye prefer to fear men than honour God? With the action of Ize- Iyamu, it goes a long way to show that Oshomhole was right by calling him a fake pastor. Ize-Iyamu have no moral justification to climb the pulpit and preach again. This is a complete abuse of spiritual privilege. FAKE PASTOR!

Chief, pastor Ize iyamu,is a pitty… remember the scripture that,one servant cannot serve two Masters, how many Muslims have you ever converted to your church and ordained them as pastors? what a shame.

How on earth will this Man allow this to happen to him. As a pastor which he call himself I did not expect that he will go so low by allow this Muslim leader to turn him to Muslim in a day like this . This is bad no Muslim on earth will allow Christian to do this to them so why because of governorship position. Is like this Man dont know his calling. See #DaddyGo #Kumuyi #Oyedepo and #Olukoya this Man of God are more than any President or Governor you can think of. Have u ever see any Chife Imma to come out and say they want to contest for any position? No because they no their calling. Can this Man tell the Nigerian that he has not kill human being for him to gain power to that position now. But for you bring disgrace to Christian as whole God will surely disgrace you and u will not get to that position because i belive that the Muslim community must have give you some conditions which you have agreed with them. But God will expose you In Jesus Name. And that Government Office you are seen as your promise Land you will never get there
