Jetour is intensifying competition in Nigeria’s Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) market with the introduction of its T2 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), a model designed to combine rugged off-road strength with modern electrification.
Positioned for motorists seeking durability, efficiency and comfort, the T2 PHEV presents a commanding road presence. The SUV measures 4,785mm in length, 2,006mm in width and 1,875mm in height, offering a bold stance that balances practicality with visual appeal.
According to Jetour Nigeria, the vehicle is engineered to deliver a seamless blend of performance and fuel efficiency, ensuring a refined driving experience suited for both urban commuting and long-distance travel.
To support nationwide availability, the automaker is leveraging its accredited dealer network, including Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era Autovehicle Services Limited, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, Tab Autos Limited, R.T. Briscoe Motors and Mandilas Autos, ensuring customers have access to sales and aftersales support across the country.
A major highlight of the T2 PHEV is its dual driving capability. The SUV delivers strong fuel economy when running on petrol and can switch seamlessly to full electric mode when required.
This flexibility is expected to help reduce fuel costs while aligning with Nigeria’s push toward cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.
Jetour also addresses common concerns around electric mobility with a versatile charging system. The T2 Hybrid supports fast charging, slow charging, engine charging and regenerative braking.
This integrated approach ensures continuous battery replenishment while driving, effectively reducing range anxiety.

When battery levels drop, the vehicle’s 1.5-litre turbocharged engine automatically functions as a generator, recharging the battery without directly powering the wheels. Energy is stored in a 26.73kWh battery, enabling the SUV to handle highways, city roads and rough terrain efficiently.
The launch further strengthens Jetour’s growing footprint in Nigeria. The brand was recognised as Fastest Growing Brand at the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association Awards in 2024, while its Dashing model earned Nigeria’s Car of the Year in 2025.
Safety features remain a key selling point of the T2 PHEV. The vehicle is equipped with multiple airbags, advanced emergency braking, electronic parking brake with auto hold, anti-rollover control and a 360-degree camera offering both 2D and 3D views.
Additional driver-assistance systems include lane departure warning, blind-spot detection, collision alerts, bend braking control and automatic door locking.
Inside, the SUV emphasises comfort and connectivity. A 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, voice commands and wireless charging.
Other premium features include adaptive cruise control, a panoramic roof, ventilated power seats, a Sony 12-speaker audio system and LED Matrix headlamps.
Performance is enhanced by a 3-speed Super E-Hybrid DHT system, which provides efficient energy management, responsive acceleration and strong climbing ability.
The SUV can operate quietly in electric mode for daily use or deploy turbocharged power for extended trips.
Jetour backs the T2 PHEV with a five-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty, reinforcing confidence in its technology and commitment to Nigerian customers.
With the introduction of the T2 PHEV, Jetour is positioning itself at the forefront of innovation in Nigeria’s SUV market, offering motorists a blend of power, efficiency and cutting-edge features tailored for modern driving needs.
