The special adviser to Lagos state government on drainages and water resources, Joe Igbokwe has reacted to the interview of Kadaria Ahmed on Arise TV this morning, while calling on Nigeria’s to listen to the message the latter shared as a guest on the national television.
Engineer Igbokwe, Nnewi-born-Lagos-based politician, stated that the problem of Nigeria has to do with the number of unpatriotic citizens that seem not to understand their duties as Nigerians to protect their country of birth.
His words go thus; “The problem Nigeria has is the number of unpatriotic citizens, who have no understanding of their duty to protect Nigeria.”
Kadaria blames BBC for promoting terrorism and banditry in the country after the latter had last week published a documentary captioned ‘The Bandits Warlords of Zamfara’, where it portrayed kidnapping as a profitable business, and how Zamfara ethnic conflict between Hausa and Fulani has contributed immensely to the insecurity.
In the said documentary, some terrorists were granted interview, but while speaking on the issue, the journalist condemned it as she stated this is not allowed even in the United States.
