Kadiri Ikhana, Nigerian football legend and former Green Eagles star has been discharged from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital in Edo State, following three days of treatment for an undisclosed illness.
His former teammate and Chairman of the International Sports Academy, Segun Odegbami, has described Ikhana’s recovery as “nothing short of a miracle.”
He recovered quickly and was discharged after receiving treatment and undergoing full medical tests,” Odegbami’s statement read.

Ikhana’s rapid improvement has brought immense relief to the Nigerian football community and his numerous fans who had been concerned since news of his critical condition emerged last week.
All of Kadiri Ikhana’s medical bills were reportedly settled by the Edo State government, a gesture widely appreciated.
As part of his recovery plan, Ikhana has temporarily relocated from Auchi to Abuja for rest and continued treatment.
